Who Am I - Who Do I Like?
Who Am I - Who Do I Like? When we ask ourselves who am I, we ask ourselves who do I like. And so it goes. The question itself is extremely vague. As adults, we sometimes like the way a person looks. We find them attractive, that's why we go to buy goods or services from them. We may think that being with such a person will make us live longer, or make us happy, and therefore it's likely that we'll give them a chance. But sometimes, things are more complex than just liking the person. Someone who is not someone you are looking for, and you don't particularly like, is not necessarily a bad person. We may not like a person for some other reason, but we may also not love them, and therefore we wouldn't want to cause them harm. The first question to ask yourself when thinking about who am I, is, 'Who am I.' What are my values? Are they aligned with your values? If you were to meet a stranger, you'd need to find out about her values, beliefs, and practices. You'd need to know if she would consi der you as her friend, lover, or a colleague, and you would need to know her views on what you were thinking and doing, in order to determine whether she would be compatible with you.At the end of the day, this means that you may not be the kind of person that others want to be around. You may be selfish, uncaring, lazy, or pessimistic. But these are all just a part of who you are. If you could really care less about others, you'd no longer be who you are. When you ask yourself whoam I, you may also ask yourself, 'Who do I like?' What do I like about myself?
